Larry Carter has over 25 years of experience as a Wealth Advisor and additionally has a background as a paralegal and small business manager. He graduated from Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina with a General Studies degree and an associate degree in Legal Studies. Larry is lucky to work at Retirement Planning Solutions with his son Arthur, and both combine to help provide services for a variety of client circumstances.
Larry has a special passion for finding solutions for holistically addressing pre-retirement and post-retirement for clients, as well as helping adult children of clients who may need unique solutions for transitions due to aging, such as aging in place and managed care.
Larry enjoys biking, hiking, reading on a large diversity of subjects, and healthy, ethnic cooking. He also loves hiking trails in the Pacific Northwest annually, which has been a passion for many years. He is an avid reader, and focuses on nonfiction and current affairs in many topics. He loves engaging in learning groups in many different subject areas to engage his perpetually curious mind.
One of his favorite business authors was Charlie Munger, and Larry’s life embraces many of the quotes that Charlie Munger has left the world with. His favorite quote from Albert Einstein regarding an area that fascinates him more everyday about creativity is, “Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere.”
